music :)
If you ever see me outside of class, there is a 99% chance I have headphones in. I usually am one of the people who has a couple 100,000 minutes of spotify listened to when Spotify Wrapped season comes around. When I use Spotify I mostly just listen to albums. However every now and then I come back to a playlist where I just throw in all of the songs I love. At this point, my main Spotify playlist can take you on a grand Tolkien-esque adventure to almost every major genre.
Firstly I should state that I will listen to pretty much anything but modern country music (just really does not vibe with me). My favorite music genres include, punk, riot grrrl, folk punk, experimental pop, electronic pop, hip hop, and psychedelic rock. My favorite artists include FIDLAR, AJJ, Gorillaz, 100 gecs, Grimes, Daft Punk, and The Rolling Stones. What does all of this mean? I have no idea. Connecting with others over music taste is one of the most effective ways for me to build social relationships.

Today the album I have been listening to pretty much all day is Art Angels by Grimes. Grimes is an experimental pop/electronic pop artist from Canada. You might know them because they dated and recently broke up with Elon Musk. While I do not exactly admire Mr. Musk, I absolutely adore Grimes and their music. I have been a huge fan since 2016. I highly recommend her music!
For the people who end up reading this, what are some of your favorite artists?
