A Short Rant on modern video games and why my favorite video game is from 1998
My favorite genre of video games are RPG's, also known as Roleplaying Games. In an RPG, you usually take control or even create a character in a story rich world and you get to decide how their story plays out. One of my favorite RPG's is actually a CRPG, the C stands for computer. CRPG's are adaptations of the classic pen and paper tabletop RPG games like Dungeons and Dragons, put on the computer. My favorite of these games is Fallout 2. Fallout 2 is a CRPG that was released in 1998. It is very old in the video game world, and that usually pushes most people away from it as it does not always look visually appealing and can be difficult to navigate. The game was released before I was even born. In the world of Fallout, the world enters an alternate timeline after World War 2, in which the US and China enter a Cold War in a new nuclear age.
